Tracks 141 to 154 covers the networking of interior passenger (W15), luggage compartment (W3) and number plate (X) lights. Little rhyme nor reason why the number plate lights are in those current tracks but as a result, this page introduces a total of 6 new nodes.
We’re already familiar with J-DC that watches the primary driver controls in the cockpit. It’s to the side of the car and inside the dashboard, probably within “easy” reach of 3 cables running up to the interior light in the front headliner via the A-pillar.
First, the doors. Or more to the point; the monitoring of the door-open switches that make a chassis ground when the door is opened. Each door will have its own node installed, monitoring not only that switch, but also operating the (electric) door lock, watching the lock button on the window sill and, suffering a severe case of featuritis; operating and monitoring the electric windows.
The front doors both have electric mirrors so their nodes will operate those as well, with the 4-way plus selector switch on the driver’s door controlling the mirrors.
The naming is based on a right-hand drive car.

As the interior lamp for the luggage compartment is located near the left rear lamp cluster J-RL, the rear-left node will monitor the switch tailgate (F5) and operate the lamp (W3) as required. J-RL may be physically merged with J-RR, the right-rear node controlling the lights in the rear, right lamp cluster.
The trade-off between cable lengths vs component numbers requires detailed analysis of physical dimensions and the optimum location for a node in the case of a combined one for both lamp clusters.
J-TG is the node physically installed in the tailgate. The number plate lights (X) are in the tailgate. That node also handles the rear wiper, the demister and the high-level brake light.
